What Is PET Strapping Band

PET stands for Polyethylene terephthalate and is also known as Polyester. PET Strapping has a higher tensile strength than PP (Polypropylene) strapping and is also a practical alternative to steel strapping. Polyester (PET) strapping comes with high quality and provides robust, safe and cost efficient packaging solution. In AAA SET, PET strapping band is 100% made from recycled materials.

Purpose Of Using PET Strapping Band

Heavy loads are vulnerable to movement and slipping, which can result in damage. PET strapping prevents movement and slipping by bundling products together and securing palletized loads during handling, transport and storage. It is the strongest plastic strap, offers high tension and able to retain this tension for a long period of time. Therefore, it has an excellent stretch recovering capacity and is shock absorbent, lightweight and re-tensional, offering great protection from damage during handling or transit. Especially with cross-country hauls from one destination to another or multiple stops along the path to the load’s final destination, this strap guarantees the highest possible stability of the load.
